For the first time, Challah & Soul is bringing together mothers from three cities: Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Baltimore. 5 to 6 women from each city, carefully and intentionally selected. Jewish mothers. Mothers in interfaith marriages who are raising the next generation with memory, Jewish values, and love at the heart of their homes. Women of every race, background, and tradition who share one thing in common: a belief that this journey matters.
Because every community is more than one story. The Jewish community has always been plural, Ashkenazi and Sephardic, Mizrahi and Ethiopian, Black and Brown and multiracial. So has every tradition that's ever sat across from another. The richness was always there; we just had to look. And this cohort, across all three cities, will reflect that truth out loud.
We see you. You are the mom who shows up for everyone. The one whose calendar is built around everyone else's needs: school drop-offs, college applications, holiday prep. You pour yourself out daily, with love and without question.
You're raising your children with intention, weaving justice, community, and belonging into the fabric of your family life. And sometimes you wonder when something gets to be entirely, unapologetically yours. This is that moment.
WHEN YOU RETURN
Your cohort reconvenes at least 6 more times, locally and together on Zoom. Transformation doesn't end at the airport. It begins there.
8 DAYS IN ISRAEL
Explore a land that has shaped the values millions of families are trying to pass on: how we treat strangers, how we rest, how we remember, how we repair what is broken.
BEFORE YOU GO
Your cohort meets at least 3 times locally before departure, building the trust that makes honest conversation possible.
Here's the part that might surprise you.
This trip is heavily subsidized by Challah & Soul and our partners. Your only financial responsibility is a $360 refundable deposit and your airfare.
Accommodations, programming, meals, and in-country travel are all covered. We're actively working to cover airfare too.
We want the only thing standing between you and this experience to be your willingness to say yes.
